Our commitment
Sealworks is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards across our work — both on our own site and in the platforms we build for our clients.
Standards we follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including:
- Visual impairments — including low vision, color blindness, and blindness
- Hearing impairments — including hard of hearing and deafness
- Motor and dexterity impairments — including users who rely on keyboard or assistive devices
- Cognitive and learning differences
What we do
To support accessibility on our site, we work to:
- Maintain meaningful color contrast for text and UI
- Provide descriptive alt text for images and meaningful labels for controls
- Build with semantic HTML and ARIA where appropriate
- Ensure keyboard-only navigation across the site
- Test with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA) and across major browsers
- Honor
prefers-reduced-motionfor users who opt out of animations - Use clear, plain language
Ongoing work
Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a one-time pass. We review the site regularly, address gaps as we find them, and welcome feedback. Some third-party tools embedded on the site (e.g. scheduling widgets) are governed by their own providers' accessibility standards.
Hit a barrier? Let us know.
If you experience any accessibility issue on this site — or if there's content that's hard to use with your assistive technology — please reach out. We'll investigate and aim to respond within 5 business days.
